We are adjusting QBO prices to align with the market and so we can continue to invest in the product.

The price change will only affect existing QuickBooks Online Essentials and Plus subscriptions on 15 January, 2022.
For Customers who choose to upgrade their subscription plan, the price change will come into effect on November 22 2021.

Yes, you will be subject to this price increase.
If you upgraded before 15 December 2021, you will see the new price increase on your 3rd bill from your subscription date.
For example, subscriptions purchased on 15 November 2021 will see a price increase on 15 January, 2022.
With QuickBooks, you can change plans at any time. Simply go to your Account and settings in QuickBooks, select Billing & Subscription to upgrade/downgrade your plan. But please be aware that the new pricing will be applied to your subscription from 15 December, 2021.
Unfortunately, no. You’ll need to re-subscribe at the current market price.
If you’re currently on a promotional discount, your price is unaffected until the time that your promotion expires. When the promotion expires, the monthly subscription rate will be adjusted to match the new price increase.
